The Process
Smudge Film Productions UK create your production in 3 phases, Pre-Production, Production and Post-Production.
Consultation:
One of our representatives will talk to you about the concept of your project.
We can then recommend the package that suites you best.
Treatment & Second Consultation:
During the second consultation a 'treatment' will be presented to you.
This document is an overview of the project detailing the style and structure involved with the filming.
Research & Development:
We'll research and develop how your project will be structured,
taking into account photography, locations, research of your products/services and script & storyboards.
Location Filming:
Once out of Pre-Production, we are ready to begin filming. We will keep you regularly updated on the productions progress. Depending on the type of production, filming can take anything from a few days to several weeks. Filming may be carried out on consecutive days or spread over a priod of time. This will be decided during the Pre-Production phase. Filming can be affected by the weather, occasionally causing the shooting schedule to run over slightly. This is another great advantage of the price packages system, we don't charge for time! The more we capture on film, the more options we have during the editing process (Post-Production).
Digital Editing & Score Composition:
This is where the magic of your production begins to take shape. Any digital enhancements or visual effects happen during the editing process.
DVD Menu Design & Authoring:
We can integrate your company identity or logo into our easy to use menu systems. You can even have animated menus or video backgrounds!
Packaging & Design:
The overall look of your DVD label and case cover prominantly depicting your company's identity.
Smudge Film Productions UK keep your production on file, so if you need to launch a new service or update the current production for any reason, we can do so quickly and easily!
