Cinema Release:
"The Soldier" will be playing as part of the "7 Nights of Fright" in the following cinemas:
Nottingham Showcase, Derby Cine De Lux & Peterborough Showcase.

The "7 Nights of Fright" season runs between 29th October and 4th November. "The Soldier" will be played before the 16:00, 19:30 & 22:00 showings of:
Saw IV, The Eye, One Missed Call, The Orphanage, 30 Days of Night, Prom Night & REC.

BBFC Classification:
The BBFC have classified "The Soldier" a 15 for general release.

Cinema Release:
Showcase Cinemas has expressed an interest in having the Smudge Film Productions' short film "The Soldier" shown in their digital cinemas, as a pre-feature for their halloween films.
The short will play before such films as: "Saw 4", "One Missed Call", "The Eye", "The Orphanage", "Prom Night", "REC", "30 Days of Night", and is hoped to be featured at: Derby CDL, Leicester CDL, Walsall, Bluewater, Bristol & Teeside, between 29th October until 4th November.

DVD Coming Soon:
Smudge Film Productions will be releasing the unfinished "Twitching Dead" DVD, with special features.

New Website Launch:
The new site is in keeping with the current W3C standards, and was created using XHTML, CSS & Javascript by Matt Choules.

Feature length version of "The Soldier" has great interest from London based producers.

The short film "The Soldier" nominated for the "Dead by Dawn Award" at the London Short Film Festival.

Awards Won:
The short film "The Soldier" wins Best Film, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Visual Effects and nominatesd for Best Sound at the 2 Days Later short film competition.

Smudge film productions have just completed another short film called 'The Soldier' for entry into the 2 Days Later short film festival.

Interviews on the DVD will include Jake La Motta, Ken Cranham, Tony Todd, Ed Tudor Pole, Danny John Jules, Courtney Gains, Jonathan Breck, Camden Toy, Toyah Wilcox, Marshall Bell, Kenny Baker and more.

Short Film:
Smudge Film Productions complete Pre-production and begin test shoots and location finding for "The Vampire".

Smudge Commission:
Smudge Film Productions commissioned to produce Special Effects and co-indinate Lighting for the short film "The Cry Wolf Quagmire" by Mike Wright.

Feature Film:
The final script for "Am I Not A Person" completed. Visual storyboards, Lighting tests and make-up tests begin soon. Smudge have already begun testing Digital Visual Effects for the film.

Smudge Films approached to work on "Am I Not A Person", originally intended to be a four part Television Drama. The script has been written and adapted by award winning writer Paul McKane.
